How Do I Use Essential Oils?

Essential oils, used in aromatherapy, may have many therapeutic uses. Here are a few examples of uses for essential oils in health:

~ topical antiseptics for minor cuts and insect bites
~ poor circulation
~ muscular pain, stiffness, rheumatism
~ hair loss
~ oral hygiene
~ topical fungal infections
~ nausea, flatulence, indigestion
~ vaginal candida ~ impotence and frigidity
~ anxiety, stress
~ fatigue

There are also many uses for essential oils in beauty, including:

~ lotions, cr?mes, lip balms
~ facial cleansers and toners
~ massage oils and lotions
~ shampoos and conditioners
~ bath soaks
~ natural perfumes and personal scents

In the home, essential oils may be used for:

~ cooking and baking (use caution - many essential oils are not for ingestion)
~ deodorizing, cleaning, and sanitizing
~ reducing airborne microbes and allergens
