Aromatherapy Recipe for Insomnia

2 drops Jasmine (Jasminum officinale) essential oil
3 drops Roman Chamomile (Chamaemelum nobile) essential oil
4 drops Lavender (Lavandula augustifolia) essential oil
6 drops Spikenard (Nardostachys jatamansi) essential oil

Combine these essential oils for insomnia, or create your own insomnia aromatherapy recipe using the essential oils suggested for insomnia. Diffuse this blend using a nebulizer in the bedroom just before bedtime, or place a few drops on cotton pads around the bed. Diluted in 1/2 carrier oil, such as sweet almond oil, this recipe could also be used for a relaxing before-bed self massage.
